About the AAF
Jumpstart your career in advertising with the American Advertising Federation and the student chapter at Texas State University. The AAF has more than 200 chapters across the U.S. and 5,000+ student members. For student members, the AAF provides valuable insights into the world of advertising, connections, and even job opportunities that will help propel your advertising career. For educators at a college or university, college chapter membership is the perfect way to make an impact on students at your school who are looking to dive into the advertising industry.
Established in 1905, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) is the only organization that includes members across all disciplines and career levels in advertising. Meet the officers
Reese Raley (she/her)
President
Reese is currently a senior Advertising major with a minor in Media Studies. She has been involved with AAF since her sophomore year, but took her membership to another level when being elected President in Fall 2024. Being apart of AAF for the past two years has shown her that “whether you are a member or an officer, we are all dedicated to better ourselves and our futures.” In addition to her role in the AAF, she was apart of the 2025 first place NSAC team as a media planner, further fulfilling her passion for media strategy and data analysis. Outside of the classroom, she loves to shop, sit by the pool, or spend time with her two cats: Lola and Athena.

Aeden Farnsworth (he/him)
Vice President
Aeden is an Advertising major with a minor in Media Studies. He values how AAF creates a space for Advertising students to connect, build community, and grow both professionally and creatively. He also sees AAF as a valuable opportunity to engage with industry professionals and gain real-world insights into the field he’s preparing to enter. Outside the classroom, Aeden enjoys collecting vinyl records, watching classic films at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, and reading articles on creative strategy to continually sharpen his skills.

Jennifer Nuñez (she/her)
CFO & Industry relations co-chair
Jennifer is an Advertising major with a minor in Spanish. She values the strong sense of community that AAF provides and appreciates the insights she's gained through its guest speakers. Outside the classroom, you’ll find her spending time with friends, taking cycling classes, or running throughout the streets of San Marcos.

Sebastian Escalante (he/him)
Industry relations co-chair & Social Media Manager
Sebastian is an Advertising major with a minor in Business Administration. One of his favorite aspects of AAF is the networking opportunities it provides, both on campus and beyond. He enjoys connecting with students and professionals who share his passion for creativity, strategy, and advertising. In his free time, you’ll find Sebastian cooking over a fire, fly fishing, or traveling the world in search of new experiences.

Haylee Dalton (she/her)
Creative CO-Director & Social events co-chair
Haylee is a senior Advertising major with a minor in Art. She loves being a part of AAF for the chance to connect with fellow Texas State students and gain real-world insight from industry professionals. Each guest speaker has given her new perspective on the field, and she values every lesson. Over the summer, she interned with Sherry Matthews after networking with professionals at AAF’s spring agency tour. When she’s not at school or work, you’ll probably find her painting or watching the New York Yankees.

Social events co-chair
Kya is an Advertising major with a minor in Business Administration. She loves being part of AAF for the valuable networking opportunities it offers, both with industry professionals and fellow Texas State students. On campus, Kya enjoys sharpening her skills and learning from her favorite professors, while off campus, she loves spending time with friends and unwinding outside the classroom.

Sally Pittman (she/her)
Communications Co-director
Sally is a Senior Advertising major with a minor in Dance. AAF has inspired her to grow a sense of community in the advertising field with her peers and fellow AAF officers. While at Texas State, she also served in a leadership position on the world-famous Texas State Strutters, where she strengthened her communication and organizational skills. Outside the classroom, she enjoys dancing, going to coffee shops, and playing tennis with friends.
