Meet our 2025 NSAC Team

About this Team

Texas State University NSAC Team is the 2025 National Champion in the countries largest and most competitive student ad competition hosted by the American Advertising Federation. In addition to winning 1st place in nationals, the team also won several other awards, including:

Juliet Cano - Account Executive

Juliet is a collaborative leader with a talent for connecting big-picture ideas to practical executions. As Account Executive of the NSAC team, she brought structure, clarity, and measurement to every phase of campaign development alignment. Graduating from Texas State with honors with a major in Advertising and a minor in international relations, she plans to remain a student at heart, and approach the world with kindness, curiosity, and team-work.

Dalton Mumma - Account Planning Director

Dalton Mumma is a marketing strategist specializing in brand development and creating full service campaigns. Dalton led the development of an insight-driven campaign, translating audience research and market trends into clear, compelling strategy. His internship at The Carbon Agency honed his brand messaging skills.

Alex Lopez - Account Strategist

 Alex Lopez is a bilingual strategist who leads with empathy, and cultural insight. As the Senior Strategist for Texas State’s AAF NSAC, Alex played a central role in developing bold, human-centered campaigns that cut through the noise. His perspective shaped by cross-cultural experiences. Alex thrives at the intersection of research, storytelling, and intention. His experience spans campaign strategy, audience segmentation, and brand messaging. Ryan Eldredge - Executive Creative Director -

Ryan is a multifaceted creative with a sharp eye for design, a strategic mind for campaigns, and the hard skills to bring big ideas to life. As the 2025 Advertising Student of the Year and Creative Director of a first-place NSAC team, and winner of the 2025 Connection Q&A Award from AT&T, he blends imagination, discipline, and passion. Khrissalyn Maldonado

Khrissalyn Maldonado is a recent marketing graduate with a passion for turning bold ideas into strategic impact. Zach Schulte

Zach Schulte is a recent Texas State University graduate with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Theatre and Consumer Affairs. As a member of the NSAC team, he enjoys blending research and storytelling to create campaigns that connect with audiences. His experience includes crafting strategy briefs, developing audience insights, and collaborating with creative teams. Outside of advertising, Zach loves to skateboard around town, float the San Marcos River, and channel his creativity through his passion for theatre. Molly Podber is an art director with a love for heavy metal music and all things design. Whether she’s helping shape a brand or building out a campaign, she gives every project 100% dedication. Sydney Allen - Art Director

Sydney Allen is a recent graduate from Texas State University, earning her bachelor’s degree in Advertising. Aeron Shipp - Art Director

Aeron is an Art Director skilled in advertising, visual storytelling, and brand design. With over six years of freelance graphic art experience, he merges creativity and strategy for impactful visuals. As a Content Creator for TXST Campus Recreation, he handles writing, social media, and website management, gaining valuable marketing insights. He excels in collaborative, fast-paced settings that prioritize creative problem-solving. Known for his curiosity and hands-on approach, Aeron infuses energy and intention into projects. Lauren McGilvray - Copywriter

Lauren is a soon to be graduate of Texas State with a passion for everything creative, especially words. She strives to bring ideas to life in new and engaging ways. By working as a copywriter on the NSAC team, Lauren has conquered new creative obstacles and challenges, and has developed a multitude of disciplinary and teamwork skills. Aside from school and work, she enjoys art, photography, nature, poetry, and has a lifelong passion for music and songwriting. She is hardworking, motivated, and seeks beauty in everything—always striving to find creative ways to convey powerful messages.

Austin Barwegen - Copywriter

Austin Barwegen is a copywriter who thrives on pushing ideas to their limits and crafting engaging & immersive campaigns. Originally from Illinois, he took a bold leap to Texas, armed with a degree in Sports Management. Austin gained hands-on experience on NSAC while pursuing a second degree in Advertising, with a minor in Business Administration. Outside of enjoying soccer and the demands of student life, he finds peace in drawing and connecting with music, where his creativity continues to flourish.

Sonya Eberhart - Lead Designer

Sonya Eberhart is a recent graduate of Texas State University, where she double majored in Communication Design and Studio Art. She is passionate about thoughtful creative design and its ability to elevate brands and drive compelling campaigns. Sonya’s love for collaboration and big ideas led her to join the 2024 NSAC team, and she returned the following year as Lead Graphic Designer for the 2025 team. She finds fulfillment in work that blends strategy with play, and always enjoys the challenge of bringing visual clarity to complex ideas.

Kailey Couillard - Designer

Kailey Couillard is a visual designer with a strong focus and passion for branding, advertising, and environmental design. She currently leads creative efforts for Texas State’s Campus Recreation as their lead designer, where she’s developed large-scale installations and visual systems throughout the building. As President of AIGA TXST for two years, she helped shape the organization’s creative direction while mentoring fellow student designers. Her design work spans branding, murals, advertising, and art direction—rooted in strategic thinking, storytelling, and a deep passion for creating work that connects.

Emily Chu - Jr. Creative

Emily is a creative, outgoing, and quirky designer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising at Texas State University. In addition to her primary fields of study, she has a strong interest in religious studies and is completing a minor in the discipline. Emily is particularly passionate about trademark design and branding, and she gained valuable experience developing cohesive, strategic campaigns through her involvement with the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC).

Keegan Lanzerio is a recent graduate of Texas State University, where she earned her degree in Advertising with a minor in Writing. With a passion for data-driven creativity and strategic storytelling, she found her love for media planning in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). Keegan thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and brings a sharp research mindset and a love for big ideas to every team she joins.

Raymond Rodriguez

Raymond Rodriguez graduated with a degree in Marketing from TXST in May 2025. As a member of the strategy team in Fall 2024, and media team in Spring 2025, he possesses a proficiency in both aspects of advertising and marketing. Outside of the classroom, Raymond is currently the president of the Texas State Esports club. Raymond looks forward to joining the professional world, and utilizing his skills learned from NSAC and the classroom to further develop his professional skills and collaborate with clients in an agency setting or company environment.
